Pay Your Bill

The Okeechobee Utility Authority offers a variety of different payment options for our customers. If you’re trying to pay your bill and want to know how, please take a look at the many convenient ways that you can pay.

Log-in Online

The Okeechobee Utility Authority Bill Payment System, InvoiceCloud, makes your account easy to manage.

Account holders can enjoy:

Access the Online Customer Payment Portal

  • Choose "Pay Now" to quickly make a payment using a checking account, savings account or a credit/debit card without registering. You will need your Utility Bill account number and service addres to search for your bill and make a payment. Please follow the prompts to pay your bill and complete your transaction. Your payment information will not be stored.
  • Choose "Register Now" to create your online utility billing account.  You will need your account number and service address to register.  You will be asked to enter your email address and create a password which will be used to "Sign In" to your online account once you have registered.  By registering  your account in  the online utility billing payment portal, you can utilize  various options, including Paperless Billing, Auto Pay, Scheduled Payments, Pay by Text and storage of one or more payment methods.   Please note, to complete registration in Paperless and/or Auto Pay, you will need to confirm by clicking  on a link within a emailed communication from no-reply@invoicecloud.net.  
  • Choose "Sign In" if you have already registered the account with your email address and password.  

Payments made after 6:00 PM will be credited to the next OUA business day.

Please be advised that making an on-line payment or payment by phone does not immediately change any status related to your account.  

Making your payment on line or by phone will not prevent penalty or shut-off if made on the same day these events are scheduled.  If your bill is scheduled for penalty or shut-off on the day you wish to pay please call the office to make your payment.  

If your service is already shut off  DO NOT make your payment on-line or by automated phone as these payment features do not initiate a  re-connection;  please call the office to receive your updated balance and to ensure that your payment is received and your service is restored. 

 

Convenience Fees

Online payment is offered as a convenience to our customers. While signing up is free, all online payments are subject to convenience fees which are made to the online bill collector for processing the payment.

  • As the bill payer, if you choose to pay online, you are responsible for any convenience fees assessed by the online bill collector.
  • Convenience fees cover various administrative costs associated with accepting payments online.
  • Convenience fees are not collected by the Okeechobee Utility Authority.  The Okeechobee Utility Auhtority receives only your bill payment amount.
  • Convenience Fees are non-refundable.
    • If a payment is made in error, and a refund is requested and granted, only the amount paid to the bill will be refunded.

Fee Amounts

The amount of the fee varies according to the type of bill being paid as well as the payment method being used, and is always displayed clearly for your approval.

  • Convenience fees will appear as a separate charge from the bill amount on your credit card and bank statements.
  • When paying a Bill online, the convenience fee for using a Credit/Debit Card, Apple/Google Pay, and  PayPal/Venmo is a percentage rate fee of up to 2.95% with a minimum charge of $2.50; the convenience fee when using an Electronic Check is $1.40.  

 

By Phone

You can call 1-866-850-2019 to process payment.    You will need your Utility Bill account number and service addres to search for your bill and make a payment

If you make a payment by calling this number, there is an additional surcharge of $0.50 to use this service, along with the other service fees listed above.

E-check and Payment-by-phone payment approval is provisional, contingent on completion of bank processing within the next 48-96 hours

 

Direct Debit

Okeechobee Utility Authority is excited to offer this service. Avoid all of the hassle, worries, and late fees by enrolling in the Automatic Draft Payment service. You can set up monthly payments to automatically be deducted from your checking or savings account with no fee. Complete the  Direct Debit Authorization form and submit with a copy of voided check.

 In-Person

You can make an in-person payment at the OUA Main Office.  We also offer drive-up access and a walk-up drop box located on the front of the building.

*Please note that drop-box payments made after 6:00 p.m. will be processed the next business day.

 

By Mail

Mail your payment and utility service billing remittance. Payments made by mail should be remitted by check or money order payable to "Okeechobee Utility Authority." Please ensure enough time when mailing your payment to avoid additional fees.

Payment Box

Drop-off your payment in the 24-Hour Payment Box outside of the Okeechobee Utility Authority office entrance. Payments left in the Payment Box should be remitted by check or money order payable to "Okeechobee Utility Authority." Please do not leave cash in the 24-Hour Payment Box.
